[2] Shopping for soul mate sounds like a great idea
Not about dating via the Internet, but an interesting offline way to meet people. I had not heard of such an idea before, that was actually in practice anywhere. Showing up on a specific night at a store and marking your cart or something to signify that you are single and approachable. The funny thing is, the other night at work a friend of mine and I were joking around about the idea of a Costco singles night.
I had gone to an opening of a new Costco recently and was telling her about all the tasting stations they had. Free little tastes of food on toothpicks and napkins and small cups of smoothies and other beverages. She said jokingly that it is too bad they don’t have a singles night for you. I said yah, small groups of singles mingling around, while having hors d’oeuvre and drinks. Sounds like a party. Maybe Costco should try it out.
